who are we?
Sarah Carter, Artistic Director Born in 1963, Sarah founded In Toto Theatre in 1989. She initially trained in performance arts at Middlesex Polytechnic (1983-86) and undertook an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at Central School of Speech and Drama in 1999. She has 20 years of experience of teaching and performing, particularly in productions for chidren and young people, specialising in puppetry/ mask and physical performance. |

Lennie Charles, Associate Director Born in 1962, Lennie was born and brought up in Dominica training in Classical dance at the Royal Ballet School in London, as well as in contemporary dance and theatre at the School for New Dance Development in Amersterdam/ Arnhem 1985-90. He has worked toured with many dance companies in Europe notably Anna Theresa De Kersermaker, Steven Brown, Plan K and Jan Fabre. An accomplished musician as well as a dancer, he has started to apply his skills to visual theatre and puppetry in recent years. |
